We no have a Sony PS-LX300USB review now available to read. In this, we mention key facts about the Sony PS-LX300USB record player, the good points and the bad.

Sony PS-LX300USB

If you’re not worried about having the vintage look and feel and you’re all about modern features, then the Sony PS-LX300USB is a good choice. Not only does it look like it’s from this century, it also has excellent sound quality and has full support for digital-analogue conversion.

The Sony PS-LX300 USB turntable, however, can only play 33RPM and 45RPM records, which is a bit of a let-down but what it provides in terms of features, this is great value for your money. As with most Sony products, this vinyl record player is fantastic value for money.

As previously mentioned, the sound quality of the Sony PS-LX300USB USB Stereo Turntable is superb and I couldn’t fault it. Anything that was a problem, was down to the vinyl record and not the player. In fact the player managed to compensate, which a lot of record players don’t do.

This record player is about half the weight of the Inovalley Retro Styled HiFi, which, along with it’s thin dimensions, makes it absolutely perfect for portability. Although I don’t recommend you use it on the road (although I’m sure it’s possible), you can easily pick it up and take it to a friend’s house without any problems, which I’ve done many times.

Below is our Inovalley Retro Styled Hi Fi review. We have brought together some useful information regarding the Inovalley Retro Styled Hi Fi System below so it’s a must read if still deciding whether to buy or not.

The Inovalley Retro Styled HiFi is a modern, sophisticated record player, with a sleek design and many features you can make full use of. Not only is it relatively light, it also allows you to convert songs to many different digital formats.

Weighing the same as 4 bags of sugar, the Inovalley Retro Turntable is extremely easy to move about and you can pretty much carry it anywhere. Although this isn’t ideal for taking abroad nor is it as portable as portable can be, it can, however, be easily transported to any permanent destination of your choice.

The Inovalley Retro Styled Hi Fi can play a full range of sizes from 33RPM to 78RPM – you won’t have to worry about what kind of records will work with this! When you can pick up most vinyl records for as low as £0.99 each, you really have a wide choice of tunes available.

Not only does this play vinyls, it also allows you to play MP3s and CDs, so you have not only a full range of record sizes available but a full range of media formats at your disposal. What’s even more interesting is that you can take your old vinyls and CDs, use the USB jack to hook the player up to your computer and transfer the songs straight to your PC in MP3 format.

As is standard with records, you will never get the same volume as you will with digital formats, due to them being analogue. However, there is a certain vintage quality associated with vinyl records, giving you a feeling MP3 files and CDs cannot compare to.

What I think

Personally, I love this record player. I know there are more expensive players out on the market, such as the Denon DP 200USB and Sony PS-LX300USB, but those are for the high class – which I am certainly not. This plays every record I own – which was passed down through a generation – flawlessly on its part. I don’t have to worry about the sizes and it produces the quality expected.

For the features given in return for the price, this is a record player you must absolutely own.
